Migrating Landscapes
Sept. 9 - Oct. 21, 2021

An installation of large format drawings by Rivera that are a hybrid construction mixing works on paper based on basic rules of linear perspective to establish space, mark making tools brought from different geographies and architectural features of the exhibition space. The idea behind these spatial drawings is to embrace hybridity and transcultural occurrences. These drawings are paired with a sound artwork by Johnson created in relationship to the drawings.

Kindred
Oct. 28 - Dec. 10, 2021

A collaboration between Julia Hechtman and Melissa Pokorny. The exhibition will include video, photography and sculpture combining materials that the artists generated on separate research trips to Iceland and other remote locations. They are working to merge their individual visual investigations of these unique places combined with materials generated from other visits to a variety of sites situated within contested spaces found along the imagined boundaries between the natural world and humankind.
