We host visiting artist exhibitions and our Senior Solo Exhibitions in the McCarthy Art Gallery.

The McCarthy Art Gallery in the McCarthy Art Center, on main campus, is Art & Design’s main gallery. Each Fall, we host visiting artist exhibitions in the Gallery, with great opportunities for students to interact with these professional artists. In the Spring, we host each of our Senior Solo Exhibitions.

The Gallery is directed and curated by Prof. Brian Collier in collaboration with students, faculty and staff from the Fine Arts Department, and other members of the campus community. There are several employment opportunities for students in the gallery; reach out to Brian (bcollier@smcvt.edu) if you’re interested in helping behind the scenes at the Gallery.

Check out the Gallery’s current and upcoming exhibits.

The senior shows in McCarthy Gallery are a true expression of what is possile at Saint Michael’s College.
